I am equally interested in the extraordinary and unconventional facets of daily life. I make photographs that draw the viewer into the image through light, vibrance, and texture. Color is a key element in my work and a device I use to immerse the viewer in the saturated world I experience. With each image, I offer a perspective that reveals the beauty and joy of the world around us. I am drawn to the essence of the people and places I encounter, highlighting their unique and compelling qualities with a sense of warmth and empathy. I invite viewers to enter into subcultures that are often overlooked or hidden from everyday view, from the obsessions of super fans to the exhilarating cosmos of small-town rodeos.
